AVOIDING HOMEWORK

I really reall really don't want to write my political studies paper, so I thought I would write on my blog instead. Here are just a few random thoughts...

You know your tired when...
You try to brush your teeth with exfoliating facial scrub (I now know what St. Ives Apricot Scrub tastes like)

More money saving tips:
1. If you splurge and buy a bag of oranges, keep the platic net bag. Bunch it up and use it as a pot scrubber
2. Save energy when making spaghetti (which you bought from the dollar store). Put the sauce in a metal bowl and put it on top of the boiling pasta to heat it up.
3. You know how when you get to the end of the deoderant stick the plastic thing has holes in it. Well you can dig out the deoderant from the holes with the toothpick to get one, maybe two if your lucky, extra uses. Keep the toothpick to be used again.
4. Forget chewing a whole piece of gum, or even a half. A third is just enough to freshen your breath.

FOND MEMORIES

I ran into Dan King the other day, he's the dude in charge of 24-7 Prayer Canada and it reminded me of something embarassing that happened a couple or years ago. You might remember this Kim, it was at Briercerest during YQ. I was helping out with the 24-7 room at the youth conference by photocopying and cutting flyers. I was in the library because they have one of those big paper slicing things. You know the ones that you pull down a lever and can cut a whack load of paper at once, well that's the one I was using. I would slice the paper and then put them into their appropriate pile. Well it was about the 3rd or 4th stack of flyers, I sliced it just like the other ones, but when I went to grab the pile of papers I found myslef under attack. I had been smoked right in the chops with the lever. I guess I didn't push down hard enough so the lever didn't stay in the down position. You know when something like this happens, somebody must have seen. As a result of the attack I had a bit of a fat lip and a minor cut.

I came to the realisation last night that my nose seems to be the source of many of my problems. I wonder if they make prosthetic ones?
