THE SNOT ROCKET

For those of you who have been here before, you're probably wondering about the snot rocket story mentioned above. This one's my pride and joy, it got me into Readers Digest Top 100 Most Embarassing Stories of 2003. Here it is...

WARNING: THIS IS NOT FOR THOSE WITH WEAK STOMACHS

So I was sitting in psychology class, eh, writing a test. I was pretty much in the middle of the classroom with no easy access out. There I am, working on my test when I sneeze. This sneeze was no ordinary sneeze, it was more of a snough (sneeze-cough combo). I covered my mouth, like anyone would or should when they sneeze, unfortunately it was a bit gooey. As if snot wasn't gross enough, I had also horked a loogey. To add to this ever so beautiful scene, when I pulled my hand away I noticed the snot was still attached in my nose. I had no Kleenex, so I nudged my friend sitting next to me but she was no help. What am I to do? If I get up and walk out with my hand covering my face everyone will know what is going on. But I can't just sit there the whole time trying to write my exam with this distraction. After much contemplation, I decide to quietly blow my nose into my hand to dislodge this inconvenience. Now what? I have a handful of snot, but I need that hand so that I can work through my test more easily. Feeling as there is no other option, I wiped it in my jacket and carried on with my test.
I got 89% on my test!
